By using Om Packers and Movers services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Agreement
These terms govern the moving and packing services provided by Om Packers and Movers ("Company"). A binding service agreement is formed when you accept our written quotation and confirm your booking.
2. Quotation and Pricing
All quotes are based on the information provided during the pre-move survey. Final charges may vary if the actual volume, weight, or service requirements differ from the quoted estimate. Additional charges may apply for: extra floors (no elevator), long carry distances, packing materials beyond estimate, and storage-in-transit.
3. Packing and Handling
The Company will exercise reasonable care in packing and handling your belongings. You must declare all high-value items (above ₹10,000 each) before the move for additional insurance coverage. The Company is not responsible for damage to improperly packed items (if self-packed by customer).
4. Insurance and Liability
Standard moves include basic transit insurance. The Company's liability is limited to the declared value of goods or ₹50,000 per consignment (whichever is lower) unless additional insurance is purchased. Claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery. The Company is not liable for: pre-existing damage, inherent defects, force majeure events, or consequential losses.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 72+ hours before the move: Full refund of advance payment. Cancellations 24–72 hours before: 50% of advance forfeited. Cancellations less than 24 hours: Full advance forfeited. Rescheduling is free if done 48+ hours in advance (subject to availability).
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for: ensuring clear access to pickup and delivery locations, providing accurate address and contact information, being present (or having an authorized representative) during pickup and delivery, ensuring proper documentation for vehicle transport, and not including prohibited items (cash, jewelry, legal documents, perishables) in shipments.
7. Prohibited Items
The following items cannot be transported: cash and negotiable instruments, jewelry and precious metals (unless declared and specially insured), firearms and ammunition, illegal substances, flammable or hazardous materials, perishable food items, and live plants and animals.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall first be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The courts of Jaipur shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
